With 185 IVCs under my belt in the past two years, I can confidently share one of my biggest pieces of advice is to go to the bathroom at your clinic right before you get your IV! And then go again after the IV is finished before you leave campus!

I decided to share this little insight because of the amount of people I see who don’t go to the bathroom before the IV starts and then have to deal with walking their pole and having IV tubing on an arm (or wherever) while trying to achieve relief. 😬 Don’t be afraid to take care of your bathroom needs before sitting for your IV!
